May 6th, 2022

• The Discord server was created as the owner AlyQT knew that her old server was dying. Only a few trusted individuals were invited at first.

May 10th, 2022

• The server was officially announced as the date of the old server's closure was also announced, and new members joined the Discord. 

• Work began on the actual server itself. 

May 11th, 2022

• Ruby Civilizations receives its first donation from Animentra. 

May 15th, 2022

• AlyQT's first project, Emerald Earth, comes to an end after she graduates high school. 

• Work is still continuing on Ruby Civilizations as well as search for a host. 

June 1st, 2022

• The decision is made to wait for the release of version 1.19 to create spawn and release the server. 

July 10th, 2022

• Spawn was decided and finished. The Beta Tester applications were sent out. Server is on 1.19, but will not update to 1.19.1.

August 13th, 2022

• The server finally released after three months of development.

• Jahbal was the first town on the server. It was created by traskcan.

• The Southern Sovereignty alliance was signed between the nations of Glacia and the Alsonian Federation to control and keep peace of the south part of the map.

• There was a short civil war within the nation of Kaigun as a result of Jahbal leaving the nation. The reason for leaving the nation was due to the leader of Kaigun, Zakazel, telling the mayor of Jahbal, traskcan, to quit griefing farms. This act immediately caused a civil war, leading to traskcan ruining Jahbal in the act of war evasion. Jahbal was placed under occupation of Kaigun due to this.

• A war has begun at Arstotzka in the town of Nekravol with a War Chest of 238 Gold. Nekravol is being attacked by Kaigun. Their reason being that a Nekravol member had 'plotted' against the nation of Gnomes. This is Day 1 of the Siege out of 3. Battle details: First blood was BR_BooperDooper8, killed by Zakazel. At the end of the first Battle Session, Kaigun, the attacker, gained 4,160 Siege Balance.

• At the beginning of the second battle session, BR_BooperDooper8, the leader of Nekravol, surrendered, ending the Kaigun-Arstotzka War. 

• The nation of Navarro was created by BlitzMann99 after they left the Alsonian Federation and attacked Alexisabihh, the leader.

September 2nd, 2022

• The town of Vanguard fell into ruin.

• The Alsonian Federation has declared war against the nation of Navarro for an alleged attack on the leader Alexisabihh. This is day 1 of the Siege out of 3. 

September 5th, 2022

• The war between the Alsonian Federation and the nation of Navarro has ended with an Alsonian victory. Alsonia managed to get 3,150 siege points to win the war with little to no resistance. The capital of Navarro, Glory, was placed under occupation by Alsonia.

September 6th, 2022

• "Project Citadel" begins construction.

September 8th, 2022

• The town of Durandal was created by Ap0t after Ap0t vacated leadership of the town FrostMill to franio_.

• The nation of Glacia has moved its capital to the town of Durandal.

• The nation of Glacia has renamed itself to Raven.

September 10th, 2022

• The town of Sandville was created by Axellientje.

• The nation of Shurima has joined the Southern Sovereignty Alliance.

• The first Blood Moon rises on the server.

• The town of New Flizmark left the nation of Gnomes to join the Alsonian Federation

• The town of Sandville was renamed to cactusville, but then was promptly abandoned.

September 11th, 2022

• The nation of Gnomes has declared war on the nation ThemDog_Empire in an attempt to expand their claims. The siege on the town of Carica has a War Chest of 10 Gold. This marks Day 1 of the Siege.

• The nation of Shurima has declared war against the town of Sworgard in an attempt to expand their claims. Another reason is that Sworgard didn't join the nation. The Siege on the town of Sworgard has a War Chest of 16 Gold. This marks Day 1 of the Siege.

• The town of Anderistia fell into ruin.

• The Southern Sovereignty Alliance has voted to intervene in the war between Gnomes and ThemDog_Empire. They will take the side of ThemDog_Empire and first make a peace offering before any attack.

• Raven, the Alsonian Federation and Zakazel have set up a Siege against the town of Skyborough as a counter-offensive in the war against Gnomes. The Siege has a War Chest of 66 Gold. This is Day 1 of the Siege.

• The Great Southern War has come to an end after supercoolkingr signed a treaty with the nations at war. 64 Gold will be paid to the victors, and Gnomes will become an ally of the Alsonian Federation. This ends the sieges on Carica and Skyborough.

• The town of Port Morgan was created by MorganV246.

• The town of Caelum was created by FTWard.

• The town of Nekravol falls into ruin, which disbands the nation Arstotzka.

• The town of Wurgh has been created by tomer19cz.

• The prophesied doomsday event predicted by the two astronomers has occurred, leaving Gaia in ruins. Humanity itself has been erased. Cataclysm strikes.

After the Original Civilization fell, many structures were left behind. Strongholds, dungeons, and many other uninhabited structures were left to rot. Only a few of the Original Civilization remained, and they split into four towns. Durma, Altair, Silva and Eira, all towns containing the last members of the Original Civilization.

After rising tensions, Durma and Eira declared war against each other. Many lives were lost. Midway through the war, Eira elected a new leader known as Mayor Edward. He is a peculiar man who is interested in science and magic. He eventually won the war for Eira, but let the town rot when he became fascinated over mysteries regarding Ender Pearls and frames. To this day, the town is in ruin. Only a few of the townspeople remain alive. These people hold valuable information, including how to brew drinks and create a religion.

Two astronomers are now beginning to predict that a cataclysmic event will happen in the future.

"The prophesied cataclysm struck, erasing civilization from the entire planet. I am likely the last one alive, and my time is short. What is there left to do except wander? May [REDACTED] save us." - An unfortunate soul, lost to time.

• The server finally launched after being in development for two months.

• Many, many people died trying to explore the wasteland.

• The town "Dwarf Ethnostate" was created by Zakazel. This was the first town created on the server.

• The town "Chime City" was created by FTWard. This was the second town created on the server.

• A new Mayor Election has begun, with the candidates being: Banker Ben, Lead Explorer Ned, and Unnamed IoCHS Member #112.

• The town "Buke no Miyako" was created by Alexisabihh. This was the third town created on the server.

• The town "Elundorei" was created by Ilppa.

• The town "Astolfo's Shrine" was created by Ap0t.

• The nation "Raven" was created by Ap0t. This was the first nation created on the server.

• The nation "OnlyBiggers" was created by Intraspecter (Booper). This was the second nation created on the server.

• The first marriages occurred.

• The IoC has commissioned the construction of a railway system between the newly established towns across the world.

• Two towns have signed up for the IoCRS.

• Another Anomaly has been located.

• The town "Astolfos Shrine" renamed itself to "Meow Miles".

• After a long bout of silence, a few newly established towns and nations lay dormant, after their populations disappeared.

• The year zero of the New Calendar wraps up, and a new year begins.

• The nation "Only Biggers" renamed themselves to "Bard Alliance".

• The town "Thalor" was created by Animentra.

August, Year 1

• Some explorers across the IoC and its territories are now offering Daily Quests.

• Banker Ben has won the 2nd Mayor Election of the Isle of Concordium.

• Banker Ben has been sworn in as the 2nd Mayor of the Isle of Concordium.

• The 3rd Mayor Election of the Isle of Concordium has begun. The candidates are: Fisherman San Gee, Miner Coalt, and Farmer Josef.

November, Year 1

• Head Scientist Eddy initiates "Project E".

December, Year 1

• The first few citizens of the IoC begin to help "Project E".

January, Year 2

• As year One year of the New Calendar ends, a new year begins. Welcome, Year Two.

• Unfortunately, due to various systematic errors by the IoCHS, a lot of history has been lost. San Gee was elected mayor, however.

"The world is vast, and nearly completely unexplored, outside of a few sporadic towns inhabited with dimwitted villagers. While we don't know much about its origins, we are here. However, near the center of the world, a beacon of light rises above; the Isle of Concordium. Once a place wrought with race and class issues, the place has steadily eased up. Many people of all known races are flocking to the town at an alarming rate. 

One day, a scientist managed to open a portal to the nether realm, allowing travel into the realm via a giant sword statue in the northeast area of the Isle of Concordium. Within lies a giant tree of obsidian housing the exit portal. It is thought that this giant obsidian tree is the reason why you are unable to create other nether portals. After some citizens of the Isle of Concordium ventured into the nether, they got lost for several years, only to return as the first Netherborne. They now act as guides to and from that wretched place.

Unfortunately, nearly as fast as it all settled down, the Isle of Concordium fell under tension once more, as people have been reported missing in larger and larger quantities."
